Hopefully as you build your island many more residents with come and the deserted island will become a lively new community. Check out the Official Nintendo Direct below!

With Nintendo’s new life simulation video game Animal Crossing: New Horizons offers an abundance of customization that it truly seems as if you can design anything you can imagine! You can even decided which hemisphere you want your island to be located in so that the seasons will change accordingly.

Facility #1: Resident Services
Although it is a deserted island Nook Inc. will be there to provide all the support you need to not only survive but to thrive in creating your personal island. Resident Services is a facilities that will provide the basic necessities such as, everyday goods, a place to sell your unwanted items, and helpful advice when living on the deserted island. There also will be a DIY workbench where you can learn to craft furniture yourself given you have learned how to craft the item and have the materials needed. Not only can you craft furniture but you can also customize your furniture as well.

Facility #2: Airport
Just like the resident services, this facility is available 24/7. Here you will be able to use the internet or local wireless to invite resident to your island. You can also travel and visit other players’ islands as well. Up to 8 players including you can be on a given island. The Airport facility offers a way for you to send messages to residents acting as an in game postal service.

Additional to facilities that are available you will also have access to a Nook phone that has applications to help you with your new life on the island. An example of an app would be a map to help you navigate your way around, as well as a camera to take snap shots of memorable moments you may encounter throughout your journey. There also will be moments where you encounter some dangers, since it is a deserted island. Hopefully you don’t these threats lightly or you may end up more than just injured.

Overall, there is much more to look forward to in this life simulation game, the best way is to explore and create your very own island. Fortunately, there seems to be frequent updates to really enhance your deserted island getaway package. Already planned updates such as seasonal events and new facilities. Their aim seems to really encourage creativity by providing in-game permits to change the landscape and construct things like bridges to connect parts of your island together. Of course these are all optional as you have the option to live in a perfectly planned community. The choice really is in the players hands for how they want to experience life on the deserted island.
