The 2nd season of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare starts today and with its start comes new multiplayer maps, new gunfight maps, new multiplayer modes, a new operator, a new ground war map, and new weapons. These will all be accessible Modern Warfare after updating your game today on February 11 with more new features coming later in season.
The classic map Rust from Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 makes its return on day 1 of season 2. It brings with it fast-paced combat thanks to its small size. Atlas Superstore is the other new map that is available today with the start of season 2 and unlike Rust, Atlas Superstore brings with it long corridors in this superstore turned ransacked base for Al-Qatala. There are plenty of things to peek around in this map that will allow players to take their shot.
Ground War is also receiving a new map at the start of season 2 with Zhokov Boneyard. This map is a large airplane junkyard that requires a using strategy to win due to its objectives and terrain for vehicle warfare.
There is a variety of other content that is coming to Modern Warfare both on day 1 of season 2 and later in-season, so stay tuned for more information about that.
