Microsoft has enabled Google Assistant support for the Xbox One. This means that you’ll be able to now turn on and off your Xbox One along with being able to launch games and apps using Google Assistant.
Microsoft will be rolling out the public beta for Google Assistant on Xbox One over the next few weeks and if you would like to enable the Google Assistant support on your Xbox One all you have to do is join the Xbox for Google Assistant group in Google Groups and have the Google Assistant app on for either iOS or Android. Google Assistant does not run on the Xbox One but instead, Microsoft has the Xbox One react to commands Google Assitant sends to the Xbox One.
You can join the Google Assistant for Xbox One beta now for a more convenient way to operate your Xbox One if you do not like controlling your console with a controller. You can also find detailed instructions on how to get started with Google Assistant on your Xbox One here.
