Capcom has launched a website for a new game currently called Project Resistance. This is believed to be the next game in the popular Resident Evil series. We earlier reported that Capcom was recruiting people to demo a new Resident Evil game in Los Angeles and New York in late September. It is now believed that Project Resistance is that game.
Project Resistance will have its teaser trailer revealed on September 9 at the Tokyo Game Show. It will then have an on-stage presence at the Tokyo Game Show from September 12-15. While it is unknown exactly what this Resident Evil will be about it is believed to be a multiplayer-centric game much like Resident Evil Outbreak. Thanks to a user on Reddit and some preview images taken from YouTube we can get a small look at four characters working together, making the game look like it will be a 4-player co-op game. While it is currently unknown when, Project Resistance will release for the PS4, Xbox One, and PC via Steam.
