Bandai Namco revealed a dramatic new trailer for Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot at Gamescom 2019. The trailer shows the bond that Goku shares with his son Gohan along with a better look at some minigame gameplay and gameplay of Gohan. While the trailer mainly focused on Gohan and his father, the trailer revealed some new information which has yet to be seen. That is that Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot will go through the events of the Cell Saga.
Up until now, it was unknown if the game would cover any sagas outside the Saiyan and Frieza sagas, with this information, revealed though it is now confirmed that Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot will also be covering all events up until the end of the Cell Saga. Now, all we need is a trailer to reveal the Buu saga, and then it will be confirmed Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot will cover all the major sagas of Dragon Ball Z.
Even if the game ends up not including the Buu Saga, it still looks like it is shaping up to be both a lengthy and solid action RPG. Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot will be released for the PS4, Xbox One, and PC sometime during 2020.
