Marvel Ultimate Alliance 3 Receives Launch Trailer and DLC Info

Marvel Ultimate Alliance 3 was released on the Nintendo Switch today and with its release has received a launch trailer along with some information regarding the game’s upcoming DLC.

Revealed at the Marvel Games panel at San Diego Comic-Con both Cyclops and Colossus from the X-Men will be added as playable characters on August 30 as part of a free update. While both Cyclops and Colossus are featured in Marvel Ultimate Alliance 3, neither of them are playable characters. This will change though on August 30 when the update lands. Once again, this will be a free update and not part of the X-Men DLC pack which is scheduled to release by the year.

Speaking of DLC packs, the Marvel Knights DLC will be the first DLC pack for the game to be released. As announced at the Marvel Games panel, the Marvel Knights DLC pack will be released in the fall of this year and will be bringing with it Blade, Moon Knight, Punisher, and Morbius as playable characters. The Marvel Knights DLC pack like the X-Men and Fantastic Four DLC Packs will all be bringing additional story content and modes to Marvel Ultimate Alliance 3. The DLC packs cannot be purchased separately and are only available as part of the expansion pass which is available for $20.
