Ghost Recon Wildlands Receiving Final Update and Mercenaries Mode on July 18

Tom Clancy’s Ghost Recon Wildlands players will be getting one final update before the upcoming launch of Ghost Recon Breakpoint. This final update will be released on July 18 and include a new mode called “Mercenaries.”

Mercenaries is an eight-player free-for-all mode that will have players fighting each other as they race towards the extraction point which is in an unknown location. The extraction point on the map can be narrowed down by locating and activating radio transmitters. Once a player has activated three transmitters, the chopper will head to the extraction point and once it lands, the extraction point will be revealed to all players. The first player to fill their extraction gauge and board the chopper will win the match. At the beginning of a match, it will be similar to a battle royale where players will not start with any gear or weapons and will instead have to loot them. Players who complete just one match of Mercenaries mode will also receive the Lone Wold Costume as a reward. Hop into Mercenaries mode yourself when it is released on July 18. Tom Clancy’s Ghost Recon Wildlands is available for the PS4, Xbox One, and PC.
