The Nintendo 64 will be getting an HDMI adapter courtesy of Eon Gaming. The adapter is being called the Super 64 and will be $149.99. It can be plugged directly into the N64, no mods or external power sources needed. It was designed with the N64’s aesthetics in mind so it matches with the design of the console. As for the functionality of it, it will deliver upscaling of N64 games to 480p and will have lagless input. The Super 64 will also have a “slick mode” that when activated will buff outs out jagged and pixelated edges in order to give games a more modern look.
This is perfect for players wanting to play classics such as Mario Kart 64, Banjo-Kazooie, and Super Smash Bros. on an HD TV. More information about the Super 64 can be found of Eon Gaming’s official website and if you want to pre-order the Super 64 that can be done over at Castlemania. The Super 64 HDMI adapter for the Nintendo 64 is expected to ship July 22nd.
