Gran Turismo Sport first released on the PS4 back in October 2017, and one of the most requested features has been for the inclusion of weather conditions. Especially since both Gran Turismo 5 and Gran Turismo 6 had dynamic weather conditions. Well, it looks like weather conditions or more specifically rainy weather conditions are finally making their way to Gran Turismo Sport. Revealed by Sony and Polyphony Digital during the World Tour 2019 livestream, both “rain” and “light rain” weather conditions were shown.
While this isn’t dynamic weather conditions which is what some fans have been asking for it is a step in the right direction for players who may be tired of always playing in dry weather conditions. Both the “rain” and “light rain” conditions will have the same physics as each other, however the lighting and rain visibility the two conditions have will be clearly visible. There is no word yet on when the rainy weather conditions will arrive for Gran Turismo Sport but expect us to write about it when we find out more.
