Naughty Dog To Take The Last Of Us and Uncharted Multiplayer Servers Offline

Per a blog post on Naughty Dog’s website, all multiplayer servers for the PlayStation 3 versions of The Last Of Us, Uncharted 2: Among Thieves, and Uncharted 3: Drake’s Deception are to be shut down after nearly 10 years of operation.

The servers are set to go offline on September 5th, 2019 at 5:00PM PST, however from now until September 3 ALL multiplayer DLC, including gameplay and vanity items for the 3 games, will be free for download.

Our Take:

This one hits a little to close to home for a lot of us in the FrameLag family, as we all used to spend several hours at night playing The Last Of Us Factions. Though the PS4 Servers will remain open, it’s still sad to see the PS3 servers shut down after so many hours of Supply Raid and Interrogations.
