Apple announces support for PS4 and Xbox controllers.

Gamers Rejoice! Apple announced that the Apple TV will be compatible with Playstation 4 and Microsoft Xbox One controllers, as well as the same support for MacOS Catalina and iOS 13, per the official WWDC live stream.

The move is to get gamers onto their Apple Arcade gaming service that is set to go live this Fall. The pricing tiers have yet to be announced. The gaming service is set to have exclusives that will not be on other mobile or console gaming platforms.

With Apple Arcade, the company is focused exclusively on mobile games, but it’s clearly aiming higher. In addition to promising to help fund game development, the company also said it won’t include apps that charge for extra attempts at puzzles, power-ups and different looks for characters. Instead, Apple Arcade games will have every thing paid for with your subscription.
