Jumanji is Getting a Video Game

Jumanji is getting a video game titled Jumanji: The Video Game. Bandai Namco, Outright Games, and Funsolve have teamed up with Sony Pictures to make a video game based off of Jumanji: Welcome to the Jungle. While no gameplay has been shown yet, the game has received a teaser trailer. In the teaser trailer, video game versions of Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson, Jack Black, Karen Gillan, and Kevin Hart can all be seen as their respective characters from Jumanji: Welcome to the Jungle.

Jumanji: The Video Game will be a multiplayer-centric action/adventure game that will allow players to play with each other either online or in the same room with each other through split-screen mode. Players will help each other using their character specific abilities as they attempt to survive the dangers of the jungle and find the Jumanji jewels. While not much more is known at this point this could change as E3 is right around the corner. Jumanji: The Video Game is scheduled for release on November 15th, and will be available on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, and PC.
