Pokémon Sword and Shield Will Be Getting A Nintendo Direct On June 5th

Nintendo announced on Twitter today that it will be having a Nintendo Direct on June 5th at 6 a.m. dedicated to Pokémon Sword and Shield. There will be 15 minutes of new information about Pokémon Sword and Shield. Pokémon Sword and Shield are scheduled to release later this year. This Nintendo Direct will likely focus on a lot of the new Pokémon and features found in the new games.

It’s also worth noting that Nintendo will still be having their E3 Direct on June 11th at 8:30 a.m. This Pokémon Direct is likely mainly to clear up some room so Nintendo’s E3 Nintendo Direct can focus on other upcoming games like Fire Emblem: Three Houses and Animal Crossing. It’s also likely that we’ll receive some info about Super Smash Bros. Ultimate’s upcoming DLC characters during the E3 Nintendo Direct.
