It seems every day we get closer to the next generation of video game consoles, and Sony Interactive Entertainment (SIE) had decided to give a little teaser of what’s to be expected.
At their 2019 Investors Relations Strategy Meeting, a demonstration between the next-gen Playstation and the Playstation 4 Pro was shown to compare loading times on Insomniac’s Spiderman game.

And the results were shocking to say the least.
The PS4 Pro, Sony’s top tier console today, clocked in at around 8 seconds of load time.
The Next-Gen hardware, clocked in at an astonishing 0.83 milliseconds for its load time.Sony’s utilization of all new CPUs, GPUs, and SSD, has seemingly proven its worth with this small teaser along the rest of the expected capabilities the next-gen Playstation is set to have.Sony CEO, Jim Ryan, emphasized that SIE will work on expanding the capabilities of streaming games and cooperation with outside game developers to make sure that they are the best place to play. They want the experience of the next-gen console to be extremely seamless.
Sony also made clear in the meeting that the Playstation 4 will still have full-fledged support in the next three years with AAA games still to come and to develop a stronger base for the future home in which greatness will await.
