A new Playstation Network exploit has been discovered, with user’s accounts being banned by something as simple as a phone call. It all comes as a result of PlayStation’s new Customer Support Service Hotline guidelines that are designed to help Customer Service Representatives with aggressive callers. If callers are overly aggressive, rude, racist or anything of the like, their account can be subject to a ban.
You can see how this can pose a problem. All that’s needed for someone to potentially ban an account is your name, a PSN ID and email address associated with the account, and a foul mouth.
It is not known if Sony is aware that this exploit has been happening, or how many users have actually been affected by it but it has been in the discussion of several gamers and YouTube channels of late.
