Ubisoft has officially revealed Ghost Recon Breakpoint which is a sequel to 2017’s Ghost Recon: Wildlands. Breakpoint looks to improve upon all of the groundwork Wildlands set. The scale of the game looks bigger as Breakpoint takes place in a brand new location called Auroa which is complete with many different geographical features such as beaches, forests, and snowy mountain tops. The technology used by the Ghosts in the game is more advanced as some of the drones and vehicles in the game look like something from the distant future.
The story of Ghost Recon Breakpoint follows you and your squad of three other ghosts as they take on a group of ex-Ghosts known as The Wolves who are led by Cole D. Walker who was just recently introduced in Ghost Recon Wildlands. Cole D. Walker is played by Jon Bernthal best known for his roles in The Walking Dead and The Punisher.
PVE and PVP modes will be included at launch and progression made in each of the modes can carry over to the other modes. Ghost Recon Breakpoint is scheduled to release for The PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC on October 4th, 2019.
