Everything you need to know about PlayStation’s State Of Play for May:

Monster Hunter World: Iceborne

A trailer was shown for Monster Hunter World: Iceborne which is Monster Hunter World’s huge expansion. The expansion will contain new moves, monsters, equipment, and a massive new area to explore. Monster Hunter World: Iceborne will be available September 6th, 2019.

Riverbond

Riverbond is a hack-and-slash dungeon crawler that can be played solo or with friends. The game has voxel art style with complete with destructible environments. There are also 8 worlds to explore and over 50 different types of weapons. If you’re a fan of indie games like Guacamelee! and Enter The Gungeon, Riverbond even has some crossover content for you. Riverbond is scheduled to release this summer.

Predator: Hunting Grounds

Predator: Hunting Grounds is an asymmetric online multiplayer game that is being made in close partnership between Sony Interactive Entertainment, Fox, and Illfonic who is also developing the game. The game will have one team of players controlling an elite Firestorm team and have one player controlling the Predator. Predator: Hunting Grounds will be available in 2020.

Medievil

The Medievil remake received a new trailer showing off more gameplay. Medievil is a classic PS1 era action-platformer and the PS4 remake looks to really bring the game to the modern era. Medievil will release on October 25th, 2019.

AWAY: The Survival Series

In AWAY: The Survival Series you play as a sugar glider as it tries to survive the wilderness in the near future. You will encounter many different kinds of animals and predators, so you must always be cautious while exploring. AWAY: The Survival Series will be coming soon to PlayStation 4.

Limited Edition Days of Play PlayStation 4

A new limited edition Days of PlayStation 4 Slim was announced as well. This new limited edition PlayStation 4 is steel grey and is expected to release in June.

Final Fantasy VII Remake

Final Fantasy VII received a new trailer which showed some new cutscenes and new gameplay. It’s worth noting that the what was shown in the trailer is all from the early parts of Final Fantasy VII and a release date has still not been announced for the game. More details will be revealed next month during E3.
