Bloodstained: Ritual of the Night Gets Release Date Trailer and New Graphics

Bloodstained: Ritual of the Night which is being made by Castlevania creator Koji Igarashi will release of PS4, Xbox One, and on PC through GOG and Steam on June 18th. It will release on Nintendo Switch one week later on June 25th. Bloodstained: Ritual of the Night is being viewed as a spiritual successor to Castlevania due to all of their similarities and the fact that they both have the same creator.

One thing that had many fans skeptical though was the games art style which was viewed by many as bland. A new trailer has dropped though and with the new trailer, an updated art style was revealed which makes the graphics truly pop and shine now. Bloodstained: Ritual of the Night was delayed but it now appears that delay has paid off because the game now looks much better than what was previously shown.

Our take

It’s amazing that just a slight modification to the graphics can make a game look so much more polished. The delay really does seem to be worth as the game now looks great and much less bland and as a fan of the Castlevania series and first Bloodstained game, I cannot wait to play this game.
